Applying to the Graduate Program in Earth and Planetary Sciences (EPS)

The program held three information sessions for potential applicants for Fall 2024 admissions.
The first session gave an overview of the program and new application process, the second session included presentations by the different research divisions and faculty seeking students for Fall 2024 admission, and the third session allowed potential applicants to meet current graduate students.

Do the following by December 1 (Fall admissions) or August 15 (Spring admissions)

(1) Start by following the instructions from the UH Manoa Graduate Division:

(2) Transcripts and Scores should be sent directly to the Graduate Division as instructed by the Graduate Division:

To expedite the review of your application while the official copies are being processed, you may also upload unofficial copies via Graduate Division's site for Uploading Supplemental Materials.

(3) Submit specific materials required for Earth and Planetary Sciences (EPS):

Complete and upload the EPS application package to the Graduate Division's site for Uploading Supplemental Materials .

(4) Provide three letters of recommendation

from previous instructors, advisors, collaborators, or employers who can write about the evaluation points listed in the EPS application package:
